Interfaces

The Goobi viewer supports various interfaces. These are explained below.

IIIF

The following APIs are supported:
  • IIIF Image API (v2.1.1)
  • IIIF Presentation API (v2.1.1)
  • IIIF Change Discovery API (v0.2.0)
  • IIIF Content Search API (v1.0.0)

Examples of the endpoints of the interfaces in this installation are:
396 is the Identifier of the requested work and 0000000110.jpg the filename of the requested image. In the Content Search API the identifier is PPN615391702 and the searched term is Ornament.

If comments have been entered below the image within a work, they are linked in the IIIF Presentation Manifest as Open Annotation. There is also a Web Annotation Endpoint, an example in this installation is:

Further examples for the IIIF API are a list of all ALTO text files for a work (provided these OCR results are available) or an overview of the digital collections:
PN743674162 is the identifier of the requested work and DC is the name of the Solr field over which a collection is to be created.


CoInS

CoInS (Z3988) is output in the source text on search hit pages and factory pages. These can be transferred directly to literature management programs. See also chapter 3.14 in the documentation.


OAI

The OAI interface is available at the following URL:
A variety of formats are supported, including METS, LIDO, MARCXML, DUBLINCORE and XEPICUR. Further information can be found in the documentation in chapter 4.1.


SRU

The SRU section is available at the following URL:
It can, for example, be stored in the literature administration CITAVI as a subject database for online research.
